Information For Authors
1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts that have not been submitted elsewhere simultaneously. Manuscripts must be written in clear,
concise English and follow the guidelines below before submission.
2. MANUSCRIPT TYPES AND WORD LIMITS
- Original Research Articles: 3,000–5,000 words (excluding references)
- Review Articles / Systematic Reviews: 4,000–7,000 words
- Case Reports: 1,000–2,500 words
- Short Communications: 800–1,500 words
- Letters to the Editor: Up to 600 words
3. MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE (Original Research)
- Title Page (separate file)
- Full title (max 20 words)
- All author names with full affiliations (Department, Institution, City, Country)
- Corresponding author email and ORCID iD - Abstract (250–300 words, structured): Background | Methods | Results | Conclusion
* Keywords: 4–6 keywords (MeSH terms preferred)
* Introduction
* Materials and Methods
* Results
* Discussion
* Conclusion
* Conflict of Interest Statement
* Funding Statement
* Ethical Approval Statement
* Acknowledgements (if any)
* References
4. REFERENCING STYLE
Authors must follow the APA 7th Edition referencing style.
In-text citations: (Author, Year) All references must be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.
5. FIGURES AND TABLES
* Figures must be submitted in high resolution (minimum 300 DPI), in JPEG or PNG format.
* Tables must be editable (MS Word format), not images.
* Each figure and table must have a title and sequential number (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.).
* Source must be acknowledged for reproduced figures/tables.
6. ETHICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Research involving human participants must include a statement of ethical approval from an Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC/IRB).
* All clinical trials must be registered in a recognized trial registry (e.g., CTRI, ClinicalTrials.gov) and the registration number must be provided.
* Informed consent must be documented in the manuscript.
* Animal studies must comply with the ARRIVE guidelines.
7. PLAGIARISM POLICY
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using iThenticate/Turnitin prior to peer review. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 15% (excluding references and quoted material) will be returned to authors for revision before review.
8. COVER LETTER
A cover letter must accompany every submission, briefly describing the significance of the work, confirming that the manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere, and declaring any conflicts of interest.
9. SUBMISSION CHECKLIST
Before submitting, please confirm:
☐ Manuscript is in MS Word format (.doc or .docx)
☐ Title page is a separate file (blinded main manuscript submitted separately)
☐ Structured abstract (250–300 words) is included
☐ 4–6 keywords are listed
☐ APA 7th Edition references are used
☐ Ethics approval statement is included
☐ Author contributions are mentioned
☐ Conflict of interest statement is included
☐ Figures are in high resolution (300 DPI)
☐ Cover letter is attached
